Tiffin’s rowers have been in action recently, competing in two long-distance Head races, stretching over 5.2km, in November. At Kingston Small Boats Head, Tiffin produced two great results; a well-fought silver medal for the Junior women in the WJ16 double (Year 11). With a sterling effort, the Year 12s, rowing in the category up, won the J18 category by a tight 1.84 seconds over a 17 minute race; truly an
impressive result! Our B boat also had an outstanding race coming 4th. Two of the winning crews went on to represent the School at GB Trials, showing that Tiffin once again have a strong rowing presence.
At Teddington Head, Tiffin juggled crews across all year groups and put out a big entry of developmental boats and managed across all 11 categories we entered to come in the top 4 of our events, including 3 silver medal places.
